Jul 13, 2022 Full Review CSI: Vegas: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Kelly Lawler USA Today The crime scenes are back. But not much has changed since 2000. Rated: 0.5/4 Oct 11, 2021 Full Review CSI: Vegas: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Daniel D'Addario Variety SI: Vegas is solidly built, and watching it brings to mind an era of TV, not so very long ago, when shows like this were thick on the ground. Oct 6, 2021 Full Review CSI: Vegas: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Pat Stacey Irish Independent All the kinetic tics from before are present: the swooping camerawork, the gleaming nocturnal cityscapes, the rapid-fire editing... But where these once looked ferociously modern and exciting, if always a bit daft, they now look dated and even more daft. Rated: 2/5 Jul 14, 2022 Full Review CSI: Vegas: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Monique Jones Common Sense Media While the series still overinflates exactly what CSI members do... the series' focus on science leading to justice can be inspiring to viewers interested in STEM. Rated: 4/5 Nov 4, 2021 Full Review CSI: Vegas: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Joel Keller Decider The presence of the old guard will keep fans interested in CSI: Vegas. But the new crew hasn't distinguished themselves for the most part just yet. Oct 14, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Allie S I like the franchise (some entries more than others) and this one started out strong but I think I'm done. The characters are just too irritating. Instead of managing a balance between humanity and professionalism they're either so jokey and flippant it's cringe-enducing at one extreme or all melodrama and hand-wringing on the other. And it's not just the regulars. So many characters aren't believable, with reactions and attitudes that just aren't credible and generally over the top. I tried ignoring it and focusing on the plot but lately that's no longer enough. I've been able to guess the bad guy and the motive as soon as they appear onscreen for the first time, they're so conventional and predictable. Annoying characters, middling plots. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review albert w For me it this show is nostalgically good. I loved the old characters and their integration with the new. Times change. People move on. Vegas moves on and so do the crimes and machinations by terrible people. Great story telling as usual. Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Edward S CSI is a fantastic franchise with a great history. This new series has some great new characters and solid cast with the exception of actor - Marg Helgenberger. For me, she has always been a boat anchor to the show and I enjoyed it most when she wasn't on. Her character is just horrible and the new season 2 story lines that are so heavily focused on her are even worse. To me, they've already burned the bridge leading to a possible season 3 renewal but I hope I'm wrong - I'd like to see them get a chance to fix their problems. If they can get back to the original formula that worked so well, that being an intriguing new case investigation every week, then they will have a chance of winning me back. In lieu of that, I'm sad to say I have to move on and I fear the franchise may be doomed. Maybe this new formula works for some viewers but I have to believe that many of the long-timer viewers like me are ready to turn their backs on this steaming pile of Helgenberger indulgence. They need to focus on cases and investigation, not characters' backstories and personal interests. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/09/22 Full Review phil e I'm done with this series. I'd much rather watch reruns of the original CSI. Season 1 was good enough, but season 2 lacks everything the original CSI had. The characters are unsympathetic, and aren't believable as CSI's. Bring back Grissom and Sara and try to resurrect this piece of trash Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A reboot of a fun show. I'm sold. Let's see if they can keep this franchise reboot a floater or of it hits rigamortis early.... Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
