French restaurant

The french restaurant Circa 1875 offers a casual pub setting with a sit-down bistro menu that varies based on the day. The bistro has French décor with green walls, white linens, booth seating, and gold statues while the gastro pub theme is apparent in the British decor. The wine selection features easy drinking local wines as well as global selections available by the bottle or glass.

MAGNIFICENT. TOP NOTCH. PHENOMENAL.ONE OF THE BEST MEALS OF MY ADULT LIFE.I would come back to Savannah just to eat here. Our server Chris was on the top of his game and treated us like vips. For the quality and quantity of food that you get, it's worth every penny, too.All of the food was prepared perfectly, balanced, and packed with flavor. I now have a new favorite French Onion soup. And I never knew I needed freshly cracked black pepper as a garnish on my co*cktail. I'm sad that I couldn't eat and drink more. I want to try everything on the menu. You really can't go wrong...order it all! ☺️Thank you to the entire staff for making my 40th birthday dinner absolutely amazing! It's one I will never forget.

This is my second time frequenting this beautiful French restaurant in Savannah. The place is completely haunted and spectacular with a delicious old-school rich French vibe. We had a wonderful experience here once prior and I was excited to go back… The only reason I gave four out of five stars is because everything seemed a little colder than I like or a little warmer than I like. Tonight we had the beet salad, the crab cakes, the duck, the chicken, and a Caesar salad… we also had chocolate moose, some sort of pastry, and the crème brûlée which was lavender💜 for dessert. Everything in terms of flavor was delicious and rich but the salad was a little warm and the dishes a little cool. Plus we had a bottle of champagne and it seemed a little warm until they put it on ice after the first glass. Maybe that was because they were very busy, even though our reservation was at 9 PM on a Thursday night. I get it ….staffing is an issue right now. Overall I love this place but I am pretty particular about the temperature of my food. However I will say that our waiter whose name was Clint was literally divine. He took such good care of us and that made up for any temperature discrepancies in our food. I would definitely go back for the ghosts alone😳💗

Amazing French restaurant with diverse menu . The food is delicious- highly recommend their steak tartare . Restaurant is packed so better make a reservation prior your visit. Interior and atmosphere is very cozy and stylish. co*cktails are great too. Despite the fact that it was busy night our waiter gave us full attention and did a great job - overall great experience.

Dining was a wonderful experience! Arrived early for our reservation and sat at the bar in the pub are. The bartenders are so lively! Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend checking this place out! Food was delicious!

We were recommended to Circa 1857 by our hotel's valet. There is a dining room and on the other side a bar. We sat on the bar side to grab a drink and some appetizers prior to our ghost tour. The bar was very cool as it is one of the oldest ones in Savannah. The scallops and escargot were EXCELLENT but what really made me want to leave a 5 star review was the service. The entire staff was attentive and informative. We will definitely be coming here for our next trip again.

Alexa L — Google review

Very lucky to have this restaurant recommended by some of the locals. Great food and such a beautiful setting in the heart of downtown Savannah. And, a big thank you to James our server who surely made our experience even more memorable. From his conversation to helping us select the right dishes to order.Note: Recommend making a reservation in advance for dinner.

Kanwar — Google review

We arrived on time for our reservation and were sat quickly in the downstairs wine cellar. It was very quaint and cute, and our server Emily was so kind and interesting to talk to. The menu looked good, however the daily specials were phenomenal. We had the smoked salmon and carrot salad appetizers that were both excellent. For our entrees we had the Duck breast (5 stars) and crab cakes and escargot. The Escargot was good but the crab cakes were nothing to write home about. Overall adorable restaurant and would definitely return just to see what the daily specials are.

Brandy P — Google review

Meh…- food tasted great but…- appetizers came out at two separate times- entrees did too: I was finished my entree by the time my wife’s arrived- ordered steak rare, arrived medium well- fries were overly greasy and moist- loved the ambience of the restaurant, I wish the overall experience matched the decorI would be willing to give it a second chance if I lived in Savannah; however, it wouldn’t recommend the place if you are on limited time since there are several great options at a similar price point in the area.

Steve E — Google review

A wonderful unpretentious dinner. Our waiter anticipated our needs, made great wine pairings, and over heard us talking about a birthday (assuming it was our pet) and brought out a lovely birthday candle in our cheesecake. Absolutely delightful!

Rachel C — Google review

What a wonderful dining experience! Our waitress Betty was very welcoming and interesting to talk to. The tomato bisque was amazing and our group agreed that it was the best tomato based soup we've ever had. Other significant dishes that we really enjoyed included the freshly baked bread, beet salad, trout, duck, and steak. The chocolate mousse and creme brulee for dessert were so delicious as well! You should definitely check this place out.

Eliana L — Google review

Romantic french restaurant with high quality food. The escargot was a delicious garlic melt in your mouth appetizer, highly recommend the French onion soup and the bouillabaisse. Reservations recommended as we could walk right in and sit down immediately. Great selection of French wine varietals. Enjoy!

Happened upon this restaurant is Savannah. We met a few locals eating here which is always a good sign. We sat at the bar. The service was outstanding. Friendly helpful bartenders. The food was the best we had our whole stay. We had the scallops, crab cake appetizer and a salad with the best dressing I’ve ever had. Just wow. The flavor! The scallops were cooked perfectly! Planning to come back another day. We couldn’t stop raving about this meal. Do yourself a favor and eat here!

Jay H — Google review

My wife and I ate here for our anniversary while visiting Savannah. Both of our meals came out amazing. The scallops and mushrooms were some of the best I’ve had and my wife’s short rib fell of the bone! The steak tartare was great as well. The only downside to this restaurant was the limited seating. We had to ask the waiter to be moved because there was a door right behind me that people passed through frequently. I’ll end on a good note by complimenting the crème brûlée desert that we took back to the room.

Such a gorgeous restaurant-absolutely magical. This beautiful restaurant provided the atmosphere we were looking for in our trip to Savannah. My friend and I had the most wonderful experience-from the warm wait staff to the phenomenal meal, it was a memorable treat. Looking forward to a return!

French onion soup - excellent. Cornish hen - excellent. Steak frites - excellent (be sure to get the truffle oil). Service was exceptional and loved the atmosphere & decor. A delightful dining experience.

Delightful cosy restaurant in the heart of old town Savannah serving up traditional French food. The menu options are reasonably priced and plentiful without being overwhelming. Don’t forget to try the French onion soup!

Coffee shop

This award-winning cafe in the middle of Broughton Street offers excellent espresso drinks and a wide variety of pastries, cheese plates, wine and beer. Its hip Greenwich Village atmosphere is perfect for a quick caffeine fix.

Amazing coffee shop with many different kinds of savory & sweet pastries, including vegan options. Loved the Churro muffin! The cafe con leche was pretty good. The decor on the inside is very cute with some seating, but a great place to grab and go. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re exploring historic Savannah!

For the morning i was strolling along the streets of Savannah and I wanted to have a quick coffee around me. I searched around me and decided to have coffee at the Coffee fox. It is a small cafe with an amazing atmosphere, authentic coffee house with a beautiful decor. They give freshly brewed coffee and after browsing through the menu I decided to order Mexican Mocha. I got my coffee in 10 minutes. The coffee was hot and freshly brewed. Loved the cafe and the vibes of the cafe.

Nishant N — Google review

Amazing coffee shop with the best coffee! The iced Horchata Latte is 10/10! There are tables inside, bar seating, seating by the window, and a few tables outside. We found this to be a great place to get coffee and work for a few hours while in Savannah. The staff is also super friendly and gives good recommendations if you aren’t quite sure what to order. Can’t wait to visit again!

The best discovery of our first trip to Savannah was hands down The Coffee Fox, and it's amazing Espresso Tonic! We loved it so much, we now have one every morning at home. It's the perfect retro hip cafe. The decor is colorful and styled to perfection.Service is friendly and fast.Sit and enjoy your drink at one of the tables or at the bar, we enjoyed the music as much as the people watching. We did not indulge in a pastry, but they looked amazing, and we were so tempted.

Danielle — Google review

This place was soooooo good! The horchata latte make me walk a mile to get it several times on my weekend trip to Savannah, and it’s enough for me to plan another vacation. I don’t know how they did it. I go to coffee shops all over the country, and this is one of the best coffees I have ever had. It’s incredible! I will be back for more coffee!

Carolyn K — Google review

Fantastic coffee shop. I loved the fresh baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was excellent. Nice setting in an old Savannah building. Great spot for a quick coffee or some remote working.

Great coffee shop. I got the Horchata Latte hot it was so good. The guys that were running the shop were super nice & fast. Definitely recommend stopping in for a coffee.

Found this awesome spot on the strip, decided to grab a chai tea, and enjoy the weather. We hung out for nearly an hour enjoying the atmosphere, music, and people. The staff were friendly, teas were tasty and well worth stopping in for a refresh.

Pantelis G — Google review

What they lack in speed, it took almost 15 minutes to get our coffees, they make up in great preparation and taste of the caffeine drinks and freshness of the scones. Very chill atmosphere, authentic coffee house decor and no pretense of what they aren't. It's a coffee house first, period, and that's what I liked.

Berele — Google review

Stopped in at lunch time for a quick snack and cup of coffee. As this was our first time at this shop the barista made some great suggestions for iced drinks. I ended up choosing an iced coffee drink with horchata which was delicious! We tried the crumble bar which was also super tasty! Super cool interior, but not a lot of seating available so this is a more grab and go type store.

Sloane H — Google review

Cool coffee shop with some unique drinks and pastries. I got the Mexican Mocha. It was yummy and just a touch spicy. I loved it! The kolache I got was egg and cheese. So good! I am so happy to decided to try this place for breakfast. Both items were $10! Amazingly affordable for a hip, cool coffee shop. Plus they were playing the Ramones and Wilco on their music system! Stayed to eat my breakfast, people watch, and just enjoy the atmosphere. The staff were kind and polite then left me alone in peace. Definitely will be returning on my next visit to Savannah.

Emily W — Google review

Another regular stop on our nerd crawl, good place to visit when you are close to Planet Fun and Nerdheim. Because I’m apparently immune to the power of coffee, black or green tea is excellent. People are fun, for being a place that gets a bit busy sometimes, atmosphere remains jovial. Vegan options so they get extra points to their attack rolls.

Jonathon D — Google review

During our last holiday in Savannah, we frequently visited this nearby coffee shop for our morning coffee and sweets. The coffee tasted great, and the retro-chic decor provided a relaxing ambiance while we enjoyed staying in this beautiful historic Savannah city.

Patrick M — Google review

Super cute local coffee shop. I usually always get the Horchata Latte because I like my coffee sweeter and the everything bagel Kolache. I definitely could eat so many of the Kolaches but I usually just get one to go with my coffee. Also, staff is always nice and helpful. I know my first time here, the girl was very patient with me, as I don't go to many local coffee shops, and was able to give me the best recommendation even with the line being long.

Stephanie S — Google review

Such delicious cappuccino and croissant! 🥐Great spot to stop before a vigorous walk through Forsyth Park (just head up Bull or Whitaker Street from the Fox through gorgeous parks).

K H — Google review

The atmosphere of this coffee place is so hip and very bold. The coffee was good but the service is so slow. It took over 20 minutes to get my coffee so be ready to wait for yours.

Tris P — Google review

The barista was nice and conversational though a line out the door. When a couple tried telling her what to do with someone else’s order she corrected them kindly. And they were very helpful in explaining what the vegan energy bites were. My Mexican Mocha was great.

Shawn C — Google review

Come to this coffee shop and order a peach strawberry scone. Your life will be forever changed … or at a minimum it’ll bring a smile to your face. I got the horchata latte and it was divine, not too sweet and very cinnamon heavy. My husband got two shots of espresso; it was great. My son is an amateur croissant connoisseur and he says their croissants are better than his favorite place back home. Our kolache tasted like texas, as it should. We loved our experience. Service was so fast. This place is perfect.

Pub

If you're in the area and looking for a delicious, authentic English pie, The Little Crown by Pie Society is the place to go. With options like chicken and thyme or steak and kidney, there's something for everyone at this Pooler pub. In addition to fantastic pies, The Little Crown also has a wide selection of beer and wine, making it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing meal or drink with friends.

Great pie restaurant!I really enjoyed steak and mushroom pie. It wasn't too salty and crust was not too floury.Banana cream pie was also amazing. There is a bar right next to the cashier counter so you can get some drinks as well.Indoor seating is unique. You have to go inside and there are two separate dining areas inside of the market place.Staff was kind and very polite!

The biggest little pub in Savannah! The pub may be small, but the pies have HUGE flavor.I enjoyed a chicken curry pie and it's definitely hearty so come on an empty stomach.Service is super friendly and fun.Be sure to snag a dessert pie on the way out because they are delicious. There's like 9 chairs at the bar so get there early for a seat!

Real meat pies in the South. I got a sampling to take back to hotel (the pub itself only has about 8 stools, they say they're the smallest pub). The Curried chicken was very good. Lots of tomatoes and chicken in a nice crust with just a nice bite in the curry.Make sure you look at streets on map before you go, if walking. The Google "directions" seemed a bit wonky to me. Once I got there and got "pied" I Ubered back to hotel to enjoy.

Great pies, Had the steak and ale pie so Delicious crust was really good. Small pie was big enough for 2 people to share. Have a decent list of English/Irish beers to pair with the pie. Paired with a Boddingtons draft

We always go to enjoy a Banana beer, exquisite! They have different flavors of pies, quiches and hot pastries. The place is small but you’ll never go wrong if you stop by and enjoy a bit of your time. The bartender, Sarah is nice, sweet and charming! I really recommend this place 100%

Originally stumbled across this business as a food truck experience and was pleasantly surprised when I visited the brick & mortar. The mini pub sits on the corner of the intersection of Jefferson and West Bryan streets, and features a tiny bar with a small window display of delicious heated pies. You can choose a water or soda beverage, or get an ale or co*cktail served to you from the miniature bar. If you continue past the kitchen, you will find ample seating inside and around a stairwell that leads to public restrooms and art galleries.

We came here for lunch and had a nice meal. The interior is small and very cute with extra seating in the back. For savory pies, we ordered the chicken thyme pie, chicken curry pie, and chicken pot pie. For sweet pies, we ordered a slice of pecan pie and a slice of apple and mixed berry pie. We liked everything we ordered, but our favorites were the chicken curry pie and the pecan pie. The chicken curry pie was extremely flavorful, and the pecan pie was gooey and delicious. The pie crusts and fillings were all cooked perfectly, and the service was great. We’d definitely come back to try the banoffee pie if we’re back in Savannah since they didn’t have it this time.

W F — Google review

I had their Irish pot pie at the food truck that was at star land yard. It was really good! The meat was nice and tender and the mashed potatoes that went with it were the best. It was quick service too. I didn’t know this place was an actual building, so I’ll have to check it out! I also saw someone with their fish and chips and.... sheesh they looked darn good.

They have Leopoldo ice cream too!!!!Love it here so much we stopped in it’s a cozy fun ambience with great company and vibes. Definitely check it out. We ended up going twice in one day because we loved it and it’s open til 2AM! What a great spot. Pie and pubs what more could you ask for.Got the strawberry rhubarb, quiche, potato onion cheese, and teriyaki pie. Butterbears, caprisun, chocolate stouts, banana beer. Had a great relaxing fun time talking hanging out and enjoying Savannah. You must stop by or you’ll regret it for your life. It’s an experience and great food love. Lots of love and care in this business.Love the service and everyone’s friendly. Whether it’s 5pm or 11pm they are awesome.

Cute little shop/pub. My husband and I stopped here for a snack while walking around Savannah. On the left is half of their Pork & Apple pie and on the right is half of the Pork & Blue Cheese. They serve them cold but my husband asked them to heat his. We liked it better warmed up. Their servers are very pleasant. About $20 for both pies and 2 bottles of water and tip.

First time visit to Savannah and just happened to eat here. Food was great!! I tried savory and curry. Both are great choices, but I wouldn't recommend eating here on a hot day. The food is a bit hearty but so so delicious.

Kevin O — Google review

1st ever review!!I was craving my all time favorite dessert Pecan Pie with not one but must have two scoops of vanilla ice cream. So I googled best place for pecan pie in Savannah GA and they popped up.Perfectly heated pie, not overly sweet and the ice cream tasted homemade.

Greg T — Google review

The Little Crown is a little jewel in the market square. It’s a cozy little pub that serves excellent pies (steak and ale and chicken pot pie are great), sausage rolls, and desserts. We ordered a steak and ale pie, some banoffee, and sausage rolls. Everything’s as excellent. This is actually the second time we’ve dined here. We ate here in July and it was so delicious that we decided to go here again over Easter. This is about as good as it gets for “pub pies”. You can’t go wrong with any of the pies at Little Crown.

Jim M — Google review

I loved both of my choices and my partner really enjoyed his as well. We shared the banoffee pie (which was ridiculously delicious and I'm kind of glad I've never seen one at home because I'd eat too many), and I had the curry chicken pie while he had the pepperoni pasty. Both were great!Great space and options. Kind staff. I wish we had one at home!

Mandy J — Google review

Such a great place! I can't believe I'm just discovering it. There's literally almost any type of pie you can think of. So very British. Loved it! There's additional sitting at the back.

Stephanie W — Google review

This was my first time eating authentic British pub food, and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered by delivery, so I can't rate the atmosphere. I ordered the chicken and time pie and shortbread. The pie was a little different than the chicken pot pie I'm used to - creamy white sauce with peas and carrots. This pie came in a rich brown sauce that was fragrant with fresh thyme and loaded with tender chunks of white meat chicken. The top crust was tender and flaky. However, the bottom crust was soaked up by the gravy. No problem. I enjoyed every savory bite. The shortcake was the perfect sweet ending. I highly recommend the cherry shortbread. It was sweet, tender, buttery, and loaded with cherry bits. The plain shortbread was equally delicious.I received my food by delivery service. Points to TLC gor wrapping every item so nicely to prevent any breakage.I can't wait to try more items from the menu.

Michelle V — Google review

You're not there for the atmosphere, you're there for amazing pot pies. I like a little milk in my pot pies to make it creamy, that is completely unnecessary. These are so good.

JustGoFlyVinnie — Google review

LOVED the pork & apple pie! The employee was helpful and let me know what to expect, the pork pies are served cold but it was amazing and bigger than I expected for the price. My partner got a sausage roll and loved it as well. There's plenty of seating in the back, and the tiny bar is adorable.

Diner

The Little Duck Diner is an upmarket diner with vintage stylings and a sunny patio in the heart of historic Savannah. The menus focuses on reimagined American staples, retro classics, and creative dishes.

Great breakfast spot in Savannah. Food was excellent and the vintage vibe was right at home in Savannah. Plus, co*cktails were served with a rubber duck. Would definitely repeat next time I’m in town. Get there super early and expect to stand in a long line because it’s incredibly popular.

First time here and it was okay. We arrived about 50 minutes after opening and had around 30 minute wait which was fine. We did like the wait text that shows how many are in front of you and estimated time for seating. We got our table and placed appetizers of risotto balls and crab risotto balls. The crab risotto balls were good just wish you would get more than 4. The plan risotto balls were good but like the crab in them more. I ordered the train wreck grilled cheese which was filling and good. My wife and sister in law order the rancher breakfast with the steak. It had good flavor but was tough due to it being a sirloin. My mother in law had the breakfast croissant which looked good. There is only 1 croissant sandwich which other reviews show two which is misleading. The Bloody Mary is good if you like Bloody Mary. The table next to us got the risotto stack which looked good and I almost ordered that as my other option.

Jordan L — Google review

I think 2 stars is generous because I would not eat here again. I really wanted to like this place but something was off with the food.I’ll start with what I did like:-It was easy to get my name on the list and to keep track of where my party was in line and I got a text message when our table was ready-The drinks were really good and the ducks were a cute touch-The interior was cute-The bacon was goodAs for the rest of the food, it left little to be desired, especially when you consider the price compared to other diners. I couldn’t finish my food because I just didn’t want it and I usually clean my plate. I got the grits, expecting them to be creamy but they were really runny but also gritty and a little sweet, not my preference for grits. The scrambled eggs also had a weird taste to them and also a little sweet? My friend got a chicken salad croissant and the texture of the chicken salad was like hummus. She let me try it and we both agreed that we couldn’t get past the texture to give it a fair assessment.I also tried the chocolate chip pancake and I didn’t like the flavor. If you’re looking for a cute spot for drinks (and ONLY drinks), I’d recommend this place. If you’re looking for a good breakfast place, I’d look elsewhere.

Summer W — Google review

The inside of the diner is very cute and inviting! Service was great, no complaints. I got the Trainwreck grilled cheese, and it was solid. Just like a normal breakfast sandwich, nothing fancy. The California grilled cheese was especially good with the pesto. One thing I was very disappointed with was the tomato soup. It's on the menu as tomato soup, but is very strong on the rosemary and curry taste. Seemed more like an Indian dish, not a classic tomato soup. Would not get the tomato soup again. Overall, good food here though!

Lindsey B — Google review

We saw this place on a YouTube channel and I loved the inside and the salmon avocado salad looked so tasty, we had to come and try it for ourselves. It didn’t disappoint. It was very good. I would recommend a long with the risotto balls. Wow, totally mouth watering. Delicious is an understatement.Inside, it’s nice and modern. But because it’s so small the tables are very close together and it’s very loud so it’s hard to have conversation. So we asked to be seated outside, plus the weather was perfect for outdoor seating. After being seated and served water, we were asked to be seated inside as they were no longer serving outside the table next to us were supposed to be the last table. Yet when we left after eating there was new people seating outside. I’m not certain why that happened but we didn’t experience the relaxing of outdoor seating. The food was very good though. We enjoyed it and would return. They place a small rubber ducky in all your drinks, which you get to keep as a keepsake/souvenir. We saved ours but accidentally through it out 😣😓

Carolina L — Google review

The wait was almost 2 hours. We were thinking it would be worth it based on the 4.5-star rating. We were sorely disappointed with the food. The presentation was really great. The flavor....not so much. Simply put, the food lacked flavor and spice. It was just bland. Two people in our party ordered dishes with crab meat...one had an omelet with crab, the other had a crab burger. It definitely didn't look like lump crab meat. The burger definitely looked like it was made from canned salmon. And we couldn't identify the crab that was in the omelet. However, the bacon was very flavorful and so were the chicken egg rolls.

A cute diner near city market! We tried a variety of foods and each was great!-Korean Beef Egg Rolls: great flavor! Loved the sauce! The kitchen was great, nice spicy kick!-Fried Rissoto Balls: so good! The sauce was okay, but the risotto balls were perfect!-Tuxedo Bomb Cake: much different than I thought it would be, it was a nice surprise! More like a mousse, not a cake. The Rosè was deliciously dry. It paired really well with the fried risotto balls.AND THE DUCKS! THE DUCKS MADE IT WORTH IT! 🤣

I visited Savannah this past weekend and went to Little Duck Diner and I was surprised at how affordable the brunch was. I’m from Atlanta and there’s no where you can get a brunch this satisfying for $17 bucks 😭. When I first walked in the restaurant was packed!! All their drinks had cute little rubber duckies floating in them. I started with a Crab Risotto Balls appetizer and THEY WERE SO YUMMY! The crunch of the fried cheese with the chewy-ness of the crab & risotto was a culinary perfection. For my main course I had a sausage biscuit with cheese & avocado. It was delicious and the perfect amount of food for brunch. The biscuit tasted homemade and the avocado was a nice touch. The meal was heavy and I was pretty much full all day.

Located in the heart of downtown Savannah, the Little Duck Diner is a hidden gem that promises a delightful dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable meal.First things first, let’s talk about the pancakes. Fluffy, golden perfection that practically melts in your mouth with every bite. Whether you prefer them stacked high with syrup cascading down or adorned with fresh berries, the pancakes here are a true breakfast dream come true. My kids ordered these so I only got a taste. And then there are the eggs – cooked to perfection every time. I got eggs, toast, and well-done bacon. Whether you like them scrambled, sunny-side up, or as an omelette bursting with your favorite fillings, the Little Duck Diner knows how to make eggs just the way you like them. The toast – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly buttered to complement any meal. It’s the ideal accompaniment to any breakfast spread.Of course, no breakfast is complete without bacon – and the bacon at the Little Duck Diner is nothing short of sensational. Crispy, flavorful strips that add the perfect savory touch to your morning feast. But what truly sets the Little Duck Diner apart is its light atmosphere. The kids got little rubber ducks in their drinks. It’s the kind of place where you can linger over your meal, savoring each bite while catching up with friends or simply enjoying a quiet moment to yourself. Whether you’re starting your day off right or indulging in a leisurely brunch, the Little Duck Diner is sure to leave you feeling satisfied and smiling.

Sunday brunch at new place is always exciting. Finding this diner in downtown Savannah can be a bit confusing for it’s hidden in a corner. Parking is always busy in downtown so finding a parking can be tricky. Once arriving you check in and the host tells you the wait time. We waited about 30 minutes however, you can explore and walk around until your table is ready. After ordering, the food is done in about 15 minutes. The food is overall very clean and tasty. Prices vary but are affordable. For a full experience order an alcohol beverage that comes with a small rubber ducky, which you may take once done. The diner is super cute and is definitely worth visiting if you’re ever in the Savannah area.

The server "Sam" was great. Very helpful and friendly, the atmosphere was cute. The menu has Asian and American style food. Most food had very large nice portions. I gave it four stars because the mother hen on the croissant was quite small. Also it was definitely not a croissant. Overall it was good enough.

We had our daughter down from college and she had eaten there before with friends and suggested my wife and I join her for brunch Monday At little Duck Diner -located downtown Savannah - tucked in a little restaurant building near City Market in Savannah , GeorgiaWe arrived around 11:30 and there was a 20-30 minute wait - the hostess got our phone number and we walked a short distance teach each o City Market and hit a few shops - within 30 minutes we got the message to head back , with only a 5 minute walk, and were seated as soon as we got back .The restaurant was busy and our waiter was very nice and took our orders as soon as we chose our food .The Menu has a wide assortment of foods on their menu- several types of Mimosas , drinksMy wife wasn’t too hungry & ordered a waffle with fruit , my daughter ordered a California grilled cheese with chicken , & tomato bisque soup , and I ordered a crab & spinach omelette - we had an appetizer of (3) Korean beef egg rolls. It arrived quickly and here’s the breakdown on the meals :The single waffle with fruit - came with a single strawberry and a cup of whipped cream- it was satisfying but nothing to write home about - my wife has had better waffles , she mentioned. My daughter loved the California grilled cheese. It came with fry’s and was delicious. She had a tomato Bisque soup that was very tasty .My crab / spinach Omlette was okay, a lot of crab but the crab was very fishy tasting - & the Spinach wasn’t cooked tender , however it came with a beautiful delicious side of fruit (cantaloupe, watermelon, and blueberries) -The Korean beef egg rolls with a spicy dip sauce was very nice .Overall everything was good - there’s so many options on the menu - from sandwiches, steaks, classic breakfasts , and many desserts . The specialty milkshakes looked awesome .Our family tasted each other’s food and were each other’s best critics- Some of the food left a lot to be desired…….that’s why I give Little Duck Diner a “3” instead of a “5” for food quality. We will be back & give them another try .I definitely will try the milkshakes and desserts .Very clean and busy - with people waiting when we left.😊Maybe it was just a rough day in the kitchen

This place is obviously a fan fave. Nice place to brunch and chicly decorated. We had an hour wait, which was true down to the minute.I periodically checked my place in line with the link they texted me at check-in. I don’t think it updates in real time because we started out with 37 parties ahead of us; 30 minutes later it was down to 25, and before I knew it, our table was ready. It was a toss up for me between the shrimp n grits and the crab omelette with a side of fruit. Everything in me said to order the veggie filled omelette, but I fought it and chose the shrimp n grits.Would I order it again? Probably not. I added a hard fried egg on top for extra texture, but overall, I don’t think curry is the appropriate sauce for this dish. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The proportions were massive (for me) and I took half of it to-go. I enjoyed my meal, but definitely had different expectations for this southern cuisine. The mimosas were….mimosas. Cute ducks floating in the glasses that aren’t complimentary. Nice ambiance and would love to come back and try other dishes.

The food is good. The best was the chicken and waffles. The kimchi rice (Bi Bim Bop) was not of my liking at all, and the hamburger was average tasting but very juicy a bit too juicy (dripping all over). Prices are a bit high in comparison of the quality, and what you get. Paid about $24 for a plate of the chicken and waffles no drink. The service was fine, but the restaurant itself is small and very cute.My friend’s drink was so good and cute!

This place was very neat with the rubber ducks they put into your drinks, which is the main attraction. The awesome things they had very the grill cheese sandwiches were beyond delicious, and the fries were good. The few things that were disappointing was the burger was not good to the point he wouldn’t even finish it. And the fact this place is all about ducks in drinks but the drink options are limited, and not very good.

Fantastic Food and Atmosphere!I had the pleasure of dining at Little Duck Diner not once, but twice, and I can't rave enough about my experience. On my first visit, I tried the Fancy Schmancy Grilled Cheese sandwich paired with the Summer Thai Tomato Soup, and it was an explosion of flavors in my mouth. The tomato soup was hands down the best I've ever had!To complement my meal, I opted for the Mango Mimosa, which was nothing short of divine. The service was impeccable, with a friendly staff that made me feel right at home. Little Duck Diner offers plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, making it a perfect spot to enjoy your meal. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. I can't wait to go back!

I absolutely loved my fried risotto meal and my perfectly cooked sunny side up egg! They were extremely busy when we went and the quality of the food was still fantastic. Nice servers and good atmosphere! Would definitely come again!

We decided to stop by here as our last meal in Savannah, Georgia and I’m glad we did! We got the fried risotto to start off and it was super crispy and the sauce paired perfectly with it. As the main entrees, we got the crab cake burger and the Asian pork bowl. Both were great! We also got a side of cheesy grits. We asked for a side of the curry sauce which I’m glad we did because it paired perfectly with the grits! Highly recommend this spot!

Love this little place on the corner by City Market! Went at lunch time on a weekday and was seated immediately at the counter.I ordered a non-alcoholic peach bellini, which was basically a peach soda, but it did taste just like peach and had a cute little rubber ducky floating in it.I ate the duck grilled cheese and substituted tomato soup for the fries. The sandwich tasted amazing. The duck was super tender and well seasoned, reminiscent of duck from my favorite Chinese restaurant. The soup was delicious in its own right with the cheese crumbles and herbs in it. I know the instinct with grilled cheese is to dip the sandwich in the tomato soup, but in this case, I would eat them separately as the tomato overwhelms the duck.Service speedy and friendly. Would definitely recommend and there were so many other things on the menu I wanted to try that I might have to come back before I leave Savannah.

One of our new favorite places to visit when in Savannah. The adult drinks are fun (a little duck as a decoration). Our meal was delicious and our apple pie was tasty and our server was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, knowledgeable, outgoing and attentive. The wait can be long as this is a popular spot, but we got lucky and strolled in at the tail end of a rush.

I’m not sure if they take reservations, but we had to get on the wait list which was done via texting. Well, it was with the wait. It was like comfort food with a twist, we had two varieties of their toasted cheese sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, and a mousse-like dessert. The pomegranate Bellini and Bloody Mary were excellent and came with little rubber duckies. Service was very attentive and very nice.

The food here was pretty solid. The burger, tacos, fried risotto balls, grilled cheeses, and co*cktails were very yummy. They ran out of the Korean Beef egg roll appetizers, so that was a bit of a letdown. The Shrimp & Grits entree had a sweetness to it that wasn't really expected...and there was still shell hiding on one of them. 🫤 All in all, our party of 6 enjoyed our dinner. Our server was very polite and accommodating, but struggled to remember who ordered what. So, there was an "auctioning off" of food and a guessing game on the split checks. And the restaurant had a fantastic set of music playing over the speakers. 😊 Thank you!
