1984 Chevy Camaro Z/28 that has been pretty much fully restored about 3 years ago, and since then there have been less than 3500 miles put on the car. Originally this had a 5.0L engine in it, and I think an Automatic Transmission as well. Now it has a new 350 Vortec Crate Engine in it and a World Class 5-Speed Manual Transmission.

EXTERIOR:
New Paint Job.....the color is called 'Riverside Blue' and it's a metallic paint. It's a beautiful looking color, that can look quite differently depending on if it's in the sun or in the shade. It has New Emblems, New Windshield, New LED low-beam Headlights, and New Wheels & Tires. The wheels are 17" American Racing Special Edition wheels, with 245/45/17 Sumitomo HTR Tires. The tires have almost full-tread left on them and are in great shape.....they could sit for months without losing any air. There are no cracks in any of the glass, and all of the exterior lights are working properly.

INTERIOR:
The interior is in great shape.....a New Headliner and a New Carpet were installed. It's very possible that a New Dash Pad was installed.....because these cars were notorious for getting cracks in the dash, and there's not 1 crack in it. The Seats are in very good shape, nothing is ripped or torn up. The gauge cluster in the dash was changed over to a complete Digital Dash made by Intellitronix. Some of the little light-bars in a couple of the gauges seem to have burned out, because they're not all lighting up on certain numbers.

A new custom arm-rest was installed in the center console for the storage compartment. New Weather-Stripping, the Shocks for the rear-hatch work good, and the Power Windows both work great with no issues. Overall, the interior is very clean.

POWER-TRAIN:
New Vortec 350 (5.7L) crate engine with a Hydraulic Roller Cam in it, these are also known as "L31" engines. This is a type of engine GM made from 1996-2000, with the center-bolt valve covers and a 1-piece rear main seal. These Vortec Heads were the best flowing steel-heads that GM ever mass-produced for the 350. Added on to the Vortec Long-Block was a New HEI Ignition, New wrapped Headman Headers, New Water Pump, New Alternator, Power Steering, New A/C Compressor, New A/C Lines, and a New Aluminum Intake. Then added on to that was a complete Atomic Electronic Fuel Injection system made by MSD. That includes the Throttle Body, all New Fuel Lines (including a return-line), New Electric Fuel Pump & Filter, and the hand-held plug-in Controller that's able to adjust all the parameters for it.

All New Brakes front and back, New Ball Joints, New Tie Rods & Sleeves, New Struts & Shocks, and a New Magnaflow Exhaust System.....which sounds awesome. Rebuilt World Class T-5 Transmission with a Pro 5.0 Short-Throw Shifter installed. The Rear is the original 10-Bolt more than likely, and when I tried to check the gear-ratio by spinning the tire.....I came up with a 3.73, so that's what I believe it is.

OVERVIEW:
There is a lot of work and money invested into this car. If you do the math on the prices of everything above, and the cost of installation of everything.....you'd see how quickly it all adds up.. I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff, but I definitely hit on the main things here. The car runs very strong and pulls hard, it doesn't over-heat or smoke. It's very solid, there is virtually no rust on the car anywhere.....there's no rot on the frame and floors at all. There's no rust on the body at all, except for a couple small spots along the very front lip of the hood (about the size of a Quarter), where you can see some bubbling underneath the paint.....but that's it for the whole car. The doors close nice & solid, the brakes work very well, and the suspension is tight. The Air-Conditioning has been converted over to the newer R134, and the A/C does work, as does the Heat.

Overall, this 3rd-gen Camaro is in great shape.....there's a lot to like about it. I recently ran a VIN report on it, and it showed this as being a 3-Owner Car, but it's really like a 2-Owner car because one owner only had it for 3 months. And the VIN does come back as being a true Z/28. This car would also qualify for antique tags & insurance. Third Generation Z28 Camaros have gone up in value a lot over these last few years, and they probably will continue to do so.
